Ya know its gonna be a bad day when...

Afta one of those days, ya know its gonna be a bad day when:

10. All ya epic gear falls off ya in one fight
9. Ya forget ta put yer fishing pole away
8. Ya forget ta take off yer Midsummer Festival outfit
7. Ya forget ya can be shot down while flying yer own beastie
6. Ya prospect a ton of ore an' get a stack of every gem an' none o' what ye need
5. Afta ya stop da frog from fleeing Flik, somebody else buys da rare frog afore ya can even say hi
4. Dere be one in da group ya swear da only thing dey be doin' is complainin' how everyone else be no doing dere job right - what be dey doing but standin' dere rantin'?
3. Somehow da Allys weapons attack faster then yer instant spells
2. Da Allys get all rogues ta fight in da battleground (me hate being stunned)
1. Da Shaman gets mad an' asks why yer not healin' da party - while da Shaman be fightin' an' no healin' (what part of me a Mage ya no get?)

**Arggh!**

Adventures in Flying

Whilst taunting some low flying beasties in Nagrand, me got bored an' flew up an' up an' up onwards, til me saw da stars. Yep, me smacked me head right inta da island floatin' up in da sky! Tis no Dallaran, twas some grassy meadow - and dere be plenty o' dem up dere! Take a gander at da sky up dere, up beyond da clouds, dere be another world dere - full a islands ta smack inta. Next time some goober says da sky is fallin', me know where it be comin' from, mon.

The Easy Day

What be an easy day? That be da day when maybe me slay only 100 herd beasts , or maybe only 50 or so of the Scourge, fly fer hours (what? 20 minutes? ya sure? me arms still tired teachin' that derned critter how ta fly right...) lookin' fer titanium to mine - still no can find one, dodge dem Allys in Wintergrasp just ta get some fishies, scrape up a little gold, toss a few things inta da pot an' make me dinner. Then its off to da auctions - stuff ta sell, stuff ta buy. Dey say ya make money in da auctions... where be mine? Ah, dat be one of dem easy days. Back ta Dallaran fer a nap in da inn... Wake me up if der be some noggerin' ta do, like knocking on da doors ta Stormwind or Ironforge...

The Stranglethorn of my Youth

I be remberin' some things fer a time now....

Da waves on da beach in Stranglethorn remind meh of me youth...

We used ta live here, ya know. We be the Darkspear tribe, mon - the true rulers of Stranglethorn... until dem fish critters rose out from da seas. I do no remember much about tha', 'cept the darkness, the madness, death all around me, an' da sounds of "Keuulm chrwil rllmilmmch glmmwrchillm guuumu wrrwmmulul lrllil!" all day and night long. We be hunted, we were. Fer days, all through the brush an' trees, relentless rain hammerin' us down to boot.

Da elders sensed da end - da great voodoo no longer worked. Da raptors had been nearly wiped out... and dem fish folk had us surrounded, dey be toying with us, killing us one by one. We be forced from the lands themselves to the isles nearby. Then da humans came out of nowhere and began attacking us, over and over again.

One stormy night, our savior appeared. A ship crashed to our shores, and out came an orc by the name of Thrall. He be huge. Never seen the likes of it afore. Dressed like a warrior, he threw lighting bolts that turned the night sky into day, at the same time swinin' the sword on his side cutting down two or three opponents at a time. He was like a god come to the lands, and the humans were pushed back into their holes.

Suddenly, dem fishies came back again - and dis time it was too late - da fishies caught us all, including Thrall.

Thrall be smart, he outsmart da fishies. They think they capture him, but he free us all from da fishies. All except Sen'jin, our leader. It was too late - the fishies had sacrificed him to da Sea Witch. But we Trolls have strong voodoo, beyond death. An' da prophecy was given - Thrall would lead the Darkspear tribe from despair to hope, an' from hope to greatness.

That night we pledged ourselves as one to Thrall and to his Horde - our Horde.

The night did not end with this. The Sea Witch lay some bad mojo on Thrall, and da island started to sink. In the dark of night we hammered away frantically repairing ships, and then dem fish folk attacked us again an' again. Lucky we be, to live. Still unlucky we be. Nothing but storms ravaged our way, until each ship was scattered as naught but timber upon the new lands.

Thrall was true to da prophecy. Wrecked and broken with no place ta call home, Thrall gathered up all us Darkspear and offered us a new home among the Orcs.

I be proud ta follow Thrall where he goes. My pride is me mount, from a litter akin to Snowsong, Thrall's own mount, earned from me own merits in battle against the Allys.

Tis strange ta be back in Stranglethorn again, doing what I did in my youth... standing on the shores, fishing... Life has come full circle - one day we Darkspear may yet reclaim Stranglethorn once more. But for now, my allegience is with Thrall - FOR THE HORDE!!!!

Somethin' Comin' ta Thunder Bluff

Right by da lifts of Thunder Bluff, I seen da carts - its dem Darkmoon folks a'gin settin' things up fer their fair. I hear dey open tommorry, be a sight ta see! Booty to buy all da time, rare rings an' trinkets, special herbs an' potions - all fer cheap! I got me guildie some rare stuff fer less than a silver once! Tis true, I be swearin'!

Da Horde needs ya in Arathi Basin!

Ya heard da call? Horns have sounded, weapons are drawn - for the next few days da commanders an' recruiters be watchin' ya more in Arathi Basin an' rewardin' ya fer yer efforts... Protectin' the land from the Allys... tis time to win, mon! FOR THE HORDE!!!!

It be Fishing Time!

Well now, it be grand! It be tha' special day o' the week once a'gin, Fishing Time! Out in the ol' Stranglethorn Vale, up and down the coastline, tis time ta put yer fishing skills to the test! The fishies be running an' lets see who gets the big one! I got me best pole out fer it - me [Mastercraft Kalu'ak Fishing Pole] ... Tis awesome. Even no bait, the fishies be eatin' the hook. Can't drink me beer no more - darn thing be too big fer one hand. Wonder what be me haul?

Best part is always afterwards - fish to fry, gumbo to make, clams to bake and plenty to drink fer all. Booty Bay and Grom'Gol are happenin' party towns!
